All campers are informally assessed, and feedback is shared with families throughout the session. Routines and expectations provide a comfortable space for making new friends and building upon existing relationships. A fully integrated Digital Literacy & Design program is available for campers in the Morning Academics program, with full access to the Unkefer Spark Studio, where students will explore, design, engineer and tinker. As camp progresses, the focus shifts to reflect a curriculum that campers can expect in the coming year, with an emphasis on math and language arts. Teachers differentiate instruction and reinforce common themes, standards and expectations from the prior school year aimed to help solidify existing skill sets and knowledge bases. Kinder Kids Camp offers valuable developmental experience in preparation for the coming school year.Īll campers are invited to join us for the afternoon Young at Heart Recreation Camp, where students enjoy a variety of grade-appropriate rotations. Campers use educational manipulatives, games and other resources to develop fun and collaborative connections with their peers and teachers. Designed to help students (and parents) make a smooth transition to the new school year, Kinder Kids Camp is open to entering Convent & Stuart Hall kindergarten students only. Students are placed in single-sex classrooms for the duration of the program.Īt the beginning of each session, teachers introduce a variety of classroom routines and lively activities to provide campers with an academic and social foundation for kindergarten. ![]()
